CMC is proud to present this beautiful 1952 Buick Estate Wagon. With only 1,641 produced, very few remain today. This beautiful Woodie wagon has benefitted from a total restoration and is absolutely striking.
All Woodies were produced in the Flint Assembly Plant due to the proximity of the outside supplier – Ionia Body Company of Ionia, Michigan. Ionia Body Company supplied the combination of wood and steel bodies from 1949 through 1953.” …”The Estate Wagon (Model 59) was the most expensive Super model with a base price of $3,296.00.
This car is equipped with an optional Dynaflow transmission ($193.00) plus full wheel covers, electric clock and parking brake release signal light. The car also has vintage Air Conditioning.
Powered by a 363 cubic-inch eight-cylinder engine and backed by the automatic transmission this Estate Wagon runs very well. The car rides very smooth and shifts into all gears with ease. The mechanics of this car were rebuilt at the time of restoration.
The restoration was comprehensive with all new paint. All the original wood was restored. The interior was redone as well. All chrome was triple chrome plated and the car presents beautifully today.
